I can’t do this

That’s the last thing I tell myself. It is the point where I’ve practically given up, and there’s no point in trying again. I look at my situation and I just can’t find the strength to go on.

I can’t do this

Those are the last words that escape my lips as I finally give up. I’m exhausted. My head hurts. My heart hurts. Hope just isn’t enough to keep me going. I’m spent; fiscally and physically.

I can’t do this

I say that as I rise again. I have a new idea. I think I can hang on for a few more minutes. I’ve already been through so much, what is five more minutes, right?

I can’t do this

That’s all I think about as I fight my way to the top. There is no way I can keep doing this. But if I haven’t stopped, I haven’t lost.

I am not losing.

P. S. Already There by Casting Crowns is an old fave of mine. It motivates me to keep putting on foot in front of the other. Enjoy πŸ˜‰
