I’ve been feeling a lot of… feelings.

Now, I’ve always had this unshakeable trust in God. Like He said it and he will do it. If it doesn’t go according to plan, it’s because it wasn’t His plan.

These days, there’s no plan. I’m a bilingual, honours degree holder in Process Engineering and the only thing I have to show for it are the documents and the memories I have. Oh and pictures from nights I almost lost my mind. That’s it.

What happened to the life they promised us when we grew up?!

“Go to school. Do your best. Learn soft skills. Develop yourself. And you’ll be spoilt for choice. You will live a life of luxury. “

Sigh.

If he dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor, how much more will he clothe you?

If he watches over every sparrow, how much more does he love you?

Jehovah Jireh. My Provider.

Have you ever prepared for a full-blown argument with someone only for them to say or do one thing that nullifies the entire argument?

This is me everytime Jireh comes up on my playlist. First, it calms me. Second, it reminds me of who’s in charge. Third, I love the song. Whenever I try to talk myself into a funk, God just reminds me (either through music or the lovely people he’s placed in my life) that He’s got this. I have no reason to worry.

What’s the point in worrying about tomorrow when I have literally handed over to the one in charge of everything anyway? Right??

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Lovely Reader, I have no idea how this year has been treating you. I really hope you’ve been having a time of life. Even if you haven’t, I would like to challenge you.
