On Productivity, People and Prayer

I had a plan for today. I was going to wake up early. Go to church. Bake cookies. Write. Code. Complete my Spanish lesson for the day. Reply all my texts and emails. Plan for the week.

Do you know what I did today?

I baked cookies. Woke up late. Dozed throughout church. Slept afterwards. Woke up just in time for dinner. I have no idea where the next five (out of six) hours after that went.

You know what? I am still thankful. While I can’t account for those five hours , I spent one hour talking to one of my closest friends. We spoke about prayer and friendship and… A bunch of other things. At the end of the conversation, I was just thinking about how God really uses people to bless us.

Also, while we’re at it, I’d also like to say that when we pray, we must remember to either listen for a response or brace ourselves for the response. Sometimes, the answers may not be what we want, but definitely what we need — and we might not be ready for that.

I wish you a happy Monday and a fruitful week.

Love,

Dr Nyameba 💜

P. S. I tried to do all Ps in the title. Did you notice? It’s cool, right?

(Not fishing for a compliment at all! 😅)
